The relationship between Self- Efficacy and Healthy Behavior among sample primary school teachers in the City of Swaida.

Abstract

The current research aimed to identifying the relationship between Self- Efficacy and Healthy Behavior among primary school teachers, and to identifying the differences in Self- Efficacy and Healthy Behavior depending on the years of experience variable. Where the sample of the study was (193) Teachers within the primary school of the city of Swaida. The two measures that were applied are Self- Efficacy scale prepared by (Alkalaila,2011) and Healthy Behavior scale prepared by (Shokry,1999) after being adapted to the research sample. The results showed that there were a positive relation between Self- Efficacy and Healthy Behavior. And it showed that there were  statistically significant differences on the Self- Efficacy scale according to the years of experience. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the Healthy Behavior scale according to the years of experience.
