Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the faculty members’ Views about the using of social networking sites in the educational process, according to the variables of )scientific degree and specialization(. The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (23) items distributed on four main axes, and it was applied after making sure of its validity and reliability on a random sample of (69) male and female teachers at the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University. The results of the study showed that the faculty members’ Views about the using of social networking sites in the educational process are positive, with a relative weight of (70.4%). The study showed that there is no statistically significant difference between the average views of the faculty members in the College of Education towards the using of social networking sites in the educational process, according to the gender variables; Academic qualification and specialization.
