Training requirements for general secondary school managers in the light of management performance development requirements "A field study in damascus city schools"

Abstract

    The aim of this research is to identify the training needs of the administrators of secondary schools in Damascus in the light of administrative performance development requirements. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, a 36- item identification was designed, spread across four axes (planning, organization, direction, follow-up and evaluation). The researcher's eye was 75 directors and directors of general secondary schools in Damascus.

The simple randomized method was withdrawn, the analytical descriptive method was used, the data processing was calculated, the arithmetic averages and the standard deviations were calculated, and the t-test were tested. The research produced the following findings:

• The degree of training needs of the directors of the general secondary schools in the city of Damascus in the light of the requirements for the development of administrative performance was intermediate, with the average arithmetic of the total degree (3.08), according to the following areas of study: In the first place, in the planning area, in the second place, in the monitoring and in the second place, in the monitoring and evaluation process, in the direction, in the third place, and in the last place, in the organization.

• There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) levels between the average scores of the sample members and the identification of the training requirements attributable to the sex variable.
• There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) levels between the average scores of the sample members and the identification of the training requirements attributable to the scientific qualification variable.
• There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) levels between the average scores of the sample members and the identification of the training requirements attributable to number of years of variable experience for those with experience less than 5 years.
• There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) between average scores of sample personnel to identify training requirements due to the variable number of training courses, which are for those who have followed less than 3 courses.
