The Level of The Family’s Participation and Its Relationship with The Hearing disabled children from cochlear implants Linguistic Competence
Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the level of family interaction and its relationship to the linguistic outcome of their children with hearing disabilities who are cochlear implants. The researcher prepared a linguistic outcome scale, which includes two dimensions: expressive and receptive language, in addition to the family interaction scale, which includes two dimensions: initiative to interact with the child and response to the child’s initiative. Hearing disability from cochlear implants, and the results showed a strong and direct correlation between the levels of family interaction and the language outcome of the children with cochlear implants, and in light of the results, several appropriate recommendations were recommended.
