The aim of the research is to identify the requirements for development vocational secondary education to achieve community development from the point of view of principals of vocational secondary schools in Hama Governorate, as well as knowing the differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the questionnaire of the requirements for development vocational secondary education due to the two research variables (educational qualification - specialization), The research sample consisted of (42) male and female principals from vocational schools (industrial, commercial, and female) in Hama Governorate. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The most important findings of the research are the following:
1-The requirements for development vocational secondary education to achieve community development came from the point of view of principals of vocational secondary schools in Hama Governorate to a large extent, with an arithmetic mean of (82.3) and a percentage of (4.76%),The arrangement of the requirements for activating vocational secondary education to achieve community development came according to the following: The financial requirement ranked first with an arithmetic mean of (3.93), followed by the educational requirement in the second rank with an arithmetic average of (3.80),then in the third rank was the social requirement with an arithmetic mean of (3.79),followed by the economic requirement with an arithmetic mean of (3.78).
2-There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the research sample's responses to the questionnaire of the requirements for development vocational secondary education due to the research variables (educational qualification, specialization).
