Obstacles to Kindergarten Teachers' Use of Educational Platforms for Early Education in Syria "Damascus Teachers as a Model"

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the obstacles to kindergarten teachers' use of the electronic educational platform in the educational process in the city of Damascus in light of the Corona pandemic, and to reveal the differences according to the variables: (number of years of experience, educational qualification, training courses). The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and a questionnaire was applied to the obstacles of kindergarten teachers' use of the electronic educational platform, which included (52) items. The research sample consisted of (166) female teachers. Among the most important findings of the research: The level of obstacles for kindergarten teachers to use the electronic educational platform in the educational process in the city of Damascus in light of the Corona pandemic was high, as the arithmetic ordinal average of the response of the research sample members reached (3.97). In the first place came the obstacles related to the use of office software to support the educational process, then came in the second place the obstacles related to the use of video, followed by the third place the obstacles related to the teacher.

 

 

 

There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research sample members on the identification of obstacles to the use of the electronic educational platform by kindergarten teachers in the educational process according to the variable number of years of experience in favor of the teachers who have years of experience (11 years and more), and according to the variable of training courses in favor of the teachers who did not undergo the courses There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the answers of the research sample members on the identification of obstacles to the use of the electronic educational platform by kindergarten teachers in the educational process according to the educational qualification variable.
