Social values among students of the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University and their relationship to some variables

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the social values ​​among students of the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University, and their impact on gender variables (males - females), academic discipline (class teacher - psychological counseling) and place of residence (rural – city). The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach to suit the research objectives. The study sample consisted of (122) students from the second year of the College of Education (class teacher - psychological counseling), they were applied to the scale of social values ​​prepared by the researcher. The scale of social values ​​as a whole, and the differences were on the dimension of responsibility in favor of the psychological counseling branch, and on the dimension of cooperation in favor of females.
