The Training Needs Of The Teachers Of The First cycle Of basic Education In Terms Of Quality Standards A Field Study In The Schools Of Damascus Countryside Governorate

This research aims at recognizing the training requirements of the first cycle of primary school teachers in the light of quality standards, and recognizing the statistical differences among the averages of the degrees of the answers of the research sample on the questionnaire of the training requirements according to the research variables ( scientific qualification, the number of the training courses, years of experience).The research used the analytical descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 427 male and female primary school teachers in Damascus Countryside Governorate. The researcher used a questionnaire designed by her, consisting of 103 items and showed the following results:
- The standards that dominated the teachers' opinions is the ninth field which ranked the first position of relative weight of 82,66% and it is a high account for the training requirements in this field, then the increasing the experiences education standard ranked the second position of a relative weight of 81,83% , then followed by the standard of providing a healthy and safe environment for the children in the school building which was ranked the third position of a relative weight of 79,86%.The standard of providing various education sources was ranked the fourth position of a relative weight of 79,76%.
- There were statistical differences among the averages of the degrees of the answers of the research sample on the questionnaire of the teachers' training requirements according to the scientific qualification variable in favor of the teachers who had diploma and higher.
- There were statistical differences among the averages of the degrees of the answers of the research sample on the questionnaire of the teachers' training requirements according to the number of the training courses variable in favor of the teachers who had joined training courses ( 9 courses ).
-There were no statistical differences among the averages of the degrees of the answers of the research sample on the questionnaire of the teachers' training requirements according to the years of experience variable.
