Abstract

 

   The present study aims to define the degree to which educational counselors practice clinical guidance in basic education schools from the teachers ’point of view, and to identify the difference between teachers’ views regarding the degree to which educational counselors practice clinical guidance according to gender variables, educational qualification, years of experience. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach, whereby a questionnaire was prepared consisting of (30) items, it was applied to a sample of teachers in the schools of Daraa governorate it reached (130) teachers, where the results showed that the degree of the educational mentors ’practice of clinical guidance from the teachers’ point of view was average. In general, the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample's estimates regarding the degree of educational mentors 'practice of clinical guidance from the teachers' point of view according to the two variables (gender, and educational qualification), While there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the estimates of the study sample individuals due to the variable of years of experience and in favor of (more than 10 years).
