Abstract

 

 The aim of the current study is to recognize the degree of using the WhatsApp application in the educational process in light of the Corona pandemic, and to recognize the differences in the degree of using the WhatsApp application in the educational process according to the variables (gender, academic qualification, years of experience). The original community of the study consisted of (2207) teachers. The study sample consisted of (316) male and female teachers, and the study followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for data collection and the questionnaire consisted of (40) statements, and the statistical program (SPSS) was used to reach the results.

The study reached the following results:

 

- The degree of using the WhatsApp application in the educational process in light of the Corona pandemic by teachers of the first cycle of basic education was with a medium degree, an arithmetic average (3.09) and a standard deviation (1.49).

- There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the teachers of the first cycle of basic education in the degree of using the WhatsApp application in the educational process in light of the Corona pandemic due to the variables (gender, academic qualification, years of experience).
