The Knowledge Degree of Arabic Language Teachers for non-native speakers about the Alternative Assessment Methods and their Tools

The research aims to recognize the knowledge degree of Arabic Language Teachers for non-native speakers about the alternative assessment methods and their tools, besides the impacts of variants in setting the results of research (gender- academic qualification and years of experiences).
And for the above purpose, a descriptive method was used by the researcher besides the (Likert) Five-Points Scale which is a kind of questionnaire that is consisted of (60 terms).
The first part of the scale included the alternative assessment methods that were showed in (performance evaluation- portfolio- peers' assessment- self assessment -observation- interview- and concept maps).
The second part of the scale included the alternative assessment tools that were showed in (check list-rating scales- learning log- and anecdotal record).
The number of the individuals of the research sample was (56) male and female teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers.
The research results have proved that the knowledge degree of Arabic Language Teachers for non-native speakers about the alternative assessment methods and their tools is high regarding the alternative assessment method which its percentage was (75.38%) while in the alternative assessment tools was (71.05%).
The research also has proved that there is no statistical differences in significant levels (0.05) among the average scales of the research sample estimation that is related to the (academic qualifications and numbers of experience year's variants), while there are statistical differences that are related to the (gender variant) in favor of females.
