The study aimed to investigate the role of virtual assistants in explaining course material, promoting interaction and participation, and providing individualized learning experiences for students at the College of Education at Kuwait University. The study also aimed to investigate statistically significant findings in the study sample's responses towards the role of artificial intelligence applications as virtual assistants in enhancing the quality of teaching practices and learning processes attributed to study variables. The study sample included (405) male and female students. The researchers employed a descriptive approach and used a questionnaire as a research tool. The study yielded several results, including: The role of virtual assistants in explaining course material, promoting interaction and participation, and providing individualized learning experiences for students at the College of Education at Kuwait University was perceived as very high, There were no statistically significant differences in the study sample's responses towards the role of artificial intelligence applications as virtual assistants in enhancing the quality of teaching practices and learning processes. This lack of significance was attributed to study variables, including gender, academic year, and proficiency level in dealing with artificial intelligence applications.The study reached various recommendations, including the necessity of providing training courses for students to help them fully benefit from artificial intelligence applications as virtual assistants. It also emphasized the importance of launching educational programs to highlight the significance of incorporating artificial intelligence applications in education, promoting a shift towards AI-supported education.
