Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the reality of the career path for the staff of the Technical and Vocational Education Directorate in Damascus and to know the differences between the answers according to the variables (academic qualification, experience). The research adopted the descriptive analytical method, and the research sample was (38) administrative employees, with a percentage (70.37%) of the original community.

The search results were as follows:

  • The reality of the career path for the employees of the Vocational Education Department in the Ministry of Education was weak in each of the areas (clarity of concept, incentives, performance evaluation) and average in the areas of (Ministry planning and regulations, training) and weak in its overall grade.
  • There are statistically significant differences attributable to the variable of educational qualification and differences in favor of university degree holders.
  • There are statistically significant differences attributable to the variable of professional experience and differences in favor of those with experience (5 and less than 15 years).
