Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the reality of the practice of self-school management among the principals of the first cycle of basic education from their point of view in the city of Damascus. By developing a tool to measure the reality of school self-management practice among school principals from their point of view, which is a questionnaire consisting of five areas that include (38) paragraphs. 0.80), and to answer study questions Arithmetic averages and standard deviations and a test (T) were extracted to find the differences between the sexes and a test for mono-variance analysis of the variables of years of experience and the educational qualification, and the results of the study resulted in the following: The order of the fields of study was according to the following

There were statistically significant differences in the average degrees of responses of the sample individuals according to the variable (gender) and was a thousand Rights in favor of males. And the absence of statistically significant differences in the average degrees of responses of the sample members according to the variables (and the academic qualification and years of experience).
