The Degree of Technical Requirements (Support and Financing) for Digital Transformation in the Education SystemA Field Study on a Sample of Principals and Teachers

Abstract

The current Study aimed to identify the degree of technical requirements for digital transformation in the education system in the light of the Syrian paper presented to the Education Transformation Conference in New York 2022 according to the variables of work type, educational qualification, and years of experience. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach and its tool was an electronic questionnaire distributed on two main axes (technical requirements, technical requirements / support and financing /). The research sample consisted of (24) principals, (110) male and female teachers, and (120) male and female teachers. The results of the Study showed that the overall estimate of the reality of the technical requirements for digital transformation in the education system has been achieved to a very high degree. Teachers versus educators, and in favor of principals versus teachers and educators together. It also showed that there were differences due to the educational qualification variable in favor of the diploma category and above versus the institute and bachelor categories, while there were no differences due to the years of experience variable
