Abstract

This study examines the activities of international organizations, which are a vital and active sector in the field, and in exceptional circumstances in which these organizations are active, and within the specificity that Syria is going through a crisis that affects all economic sectors and activities and it is going through developments that limit the effectiveness of activities. This study aimed to study the organizational culture of the institutions under study, and to research its components. As well as identifying the role of organizational culture in diversifying funding sources in international organizations operating in the Syrian environment. The practical importance stems from the Syrian situation, its regional and global developments. This imposes the need to empower the community locally as an alternative to relying on short-term relief activities in an attempt to develop the mechanism of action of international organizations active in Syria in terms of diversifying financing sources towards the sustainability of the project in line with the organizational culture of these organizations. To conduct this study, the researchers followed the descriptive approach and the analytical method, and the study tool was developed and distributed to (149) individuals working in non-governmental organizations in Syria. The study found that there is a significant impact of organizational culture in its dimensions in diversifying the sources of financing project activities in institutions. The results also showed that there is a positive relationship (organizational values - organizational beliefs - organizational norms) in diversifying sources of funding for project activities.
