The study aimed to investigate the importance of organizational development and it is impact in achieving job satisfaction on workers in Damascus university, by relying on the descriptive methodology in light of the studied population, which includes employees in the central administration of Damascus University Their number was (1500), where a simple random sample was taken and a questionnaire was distributed to (100) employees, (80) questionnaires were retrieved, and they were analyzed through the statistical program (SPSS V.26). The results of the study showed that: There is an effect of the dimensions of human and structural development on job satisfaction among workers at the University of Damascus, There was no effect of the technical development dimension in job satisfaction, and There are no statistically significant differences between the study sample members towards organizational development and job satisfaction according to demographic variables
