Abstract

The research aimed to study the role of strategic planning in crisis management by applying it to the Mediotech Pharmaceutical Company, given the recurring crises that the pharmaceutical industry sector in Syria suffers from, such as the lack of production requirements and the decline in purchasing power as a result of inflation, job leakage, energy, and fuel crisis.

A questionnaire was distributed to all employees. At the administrative levels in the company, which numbered 37 workers, 32 questionnaires were retrieved and the data was processed using the SPSS 22 program. The research reached several results, the most important are: There is no statistically significant role for strategic objectives in crisis management.

There is also a statistically significant role for strategic planning objectives in crisis management. There is a statistically significant role for strategic planning procedures in crisis management.
