This study investigates the impact of organizational trust (trust in supervisor and organization) on turnover intention among employees in the private banking sector in Damascus, Syria. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical approach and distributed a questionnaire to a sample of 226 employees in the private banking sector. The results of the study showed a significant positive correlation between organizational trust and turnover intention (r = 0.262, p < 0.05). The results also showed a significant positive correlation between supervisor trust and turnover intention (r = 0.225, p < 0.05). The results of the study are consistent with the results of previous studies that have found a significant positive correlation between organizational trust and turnover intention (Balkan & Soran, 2014; Basit & Duygulu, 2018; Chen et al., 2020). To explain these results, it can be said that organizational trust leads to employee satisfaction and commitment, which makes them more likely to want to stay with the organization. Supervisor trust also leads to a positive relationship between the supervisor and the employee, which creates a positive work environment that motivates the employee to stay with the organization.
