Abstract

God Almighty sent His Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), peace and blessings be upon him, with mercy, and commanded him to invite to the true religion, and the Qur’an has been revealed to him as a book of guidance, so that they might see the evidence of righteousness and truth. Between Muslims and others, it is based on peace, and as for war, it is an exceptional situation that Muslims are forced into when its causes and conditions exist; In order to clarify this, I will list in this research the saying of scholars about the cause of war from the perspective of Islamic law, and list their evidence and give preference among them. Among the most important results of the research: The principle in international relations is peace, not war, and that the reason for war is warfare, not infidelity.
