Criteria of aesthetic judgment to Ibn Tabataba Al-Alawi

Abstract

The research deals with an aesthetic critical study of the views of Ibn Tabataba Al-Alawi, in an effort to search for one of the most important foundations on which his critical conception of the components of poetry was based, and to know the criteria by which the aesthetic judgment was launched on poetic texts.

The importance of the research is due to its orientation to the statement of the aesthetic basis in the formation of the parameters of the critical perception and its formulation in the image presented by the critic and instructed the poets to it, and knowledge of the conditions that must be met in the text so that it is beautiful, and it deals with the values ​​that are among the criteria of aesthetic judgment in literary criticism.

The research aims to try to trace Ibn Tabataba’s critical opinions, and read these opinions according to an aesthetic vision to reveal what is involved in the aesthetic experience, and try to find criteria that reveal in the text the extent of the values ​​available in it to measure the artwork.

The research adopted a technical approach in presenting opinions and discussing the idea of ​​the criterion by explaining and citing examples, which

is an approach imposed by the critical nature of the research. Describe the aesthetic view.

The research concluded with results and observations that were proven at the end of the study.
