Abstract

Oratory is a genuine art which is considered one of the arts of the Arabic Literature. It is a unique art, no other art can be more important and effective than it.

Ibn Nubata Al-Fariki is one of the most outstanding Orators of Abbasid era and he was the most fluent and eloquent of them, and for this reason this study is of the special importance. This research is important as Oratory in Abbasid Time has not been given enough attention in research yet.

The Study aims to introduce Ibn-Nubata, and analyze his orations in context and intellectual and artistic structure. As to the intellectual structure: each Oration consists of the introduction, and the premiering, and the conclusion: Ibn_Nubata starts his religious and warmongering orations by declaring the glory of Allah. As to the premiering, Ibn Nubata depended on the intellectual and emotional evidence, so that he persuades people and influence their psychology. As for the concluding parts, they are written eloquently and effectively.

Lastly, the study shows the order, harmony and Organization in these orations.
