Human always and forever dreams of being fully capable and living eternal life without death; and because this is impossible in this world because of the human subjection to the phenomenon of death human surrendered his belief in the eschatological immortality, and if this belief carries with it a kind of comfort and peace, but at the same time it constituted a state of anxiety and
turmoil, as eternity in hell is difficult to imagine, so this concept was a matter of great contention for Islamic scholars, theologians, and philosophers on a number of sayings, as some said that Heaven and Hell will perpetuate, while others said that Paradise will perpetuate without fire, so that other voices rise up saying that they will perish together.
All of this prompted us to study the opinions of two sheikhs of the great sheikhs of theologians, Jahm bin Safwan and Abu al_Hudhayl al_Allaf, and to analyzing and scrutinizing these opinions on the one hand that Jahm and al-Allaf are different in direction. The first is algebraic, while Al- Allaf used to say about the freedom of the human will, so it is necessary for us to go deeper into what they said in order to show to what degree they differed or agreed.
