The Impact of Professional Relationships on Job Performance among a Sample of Primary School Teachers in Sahnaya

The research aimed at determining the level of professional relationships among primary school teachers, and to identify the differences on the professional relationships scale according to the variables (educational qualification, job experience), as well as to know the level of job performance of the sample members, and to identify the differences on the job performance scale according to the variables (educational qualification, job experience), in addition to identifying the statistical differences on the impact of the professional relationships on job performance among primary school teachers.
The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach, which helps to interpret and analyze phenomena. To achieve the research objectives, a professional relationships scale was designed, including three dimensions (the professional relationships between teachers, the professional relationship between teachers and management, the professional relationships between
teachers and students), and a job performance scale, and it was applied to (60) teachers working in primary schools in the Sahnaya area in the Damascus countryside.
The results showed that the level of professional relationships among primary school teachers was moderate, and the level of job performance was moderate. There is also a strong positive correlation between professional relationships and job performance. The results also showed statistically significant differences on both scales according to the educational qualification variable, in favor of bachelor's degree holders, and no statistically significant differences on both scales, according to the variables (job experience).
