The degree of practicing digital citizenship skills by Damascus University students

The aim of the current research is to determine the degree to which Damascus University students practice digital citizenship skills in the era of digital transformation. The descriptive method was followed. A nine-axis questionnaire was designed that included the areas of (digital access - digital security - digital communication - digital commerce - digital behavior - digital culture - digital safety - digital rights and responsibilities - digital laws). The research community included all students of the College of Education
specializing in class teacher, and (400) male and female students were drawn in a simple random way, so that their percentage reached 32.8% of the total community, with 90.5% females and 9.5% males.The current research concluded that the degree of students' possession of digital access skills came in the first place with an arithmetic mean of (2.74), and the field of digital security came in the second place with an arithmetic mean of (2.71). While the field of digital communication came in the third place with an arithmetic mean of (2.69). The field of digital behavior ranked fifth, with an arithmetic mean of (2.42). The field of digital laws came in the last place, with an arithmetic average of (2.13), which is a medium degree.
