Abstract

The study aimed to know the Reality of the practice administrative accountability in the Directorate of Education in Damascus Countryside from the point of view of its employees, according to the variables of gender, years of service, and academic qualification. It consisted of 26 items.The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are:• The reality of the practice of administrative accountability in the Directorate of Education in Damascus Countryside was moderately.• There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents' answers to the questionnaire about the practice of administrative accountability due to the gender variable in favor of males.• There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents' answers to the questionnaire about the practice of administrative accountability due to the variable years of service in favor of less than 5 years.There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents' answers to the questionnaire about the practice of administrative accountability due to the educational qualification variable.
