Abstract

This study aimed to recognize obstacles that hinder using Cooperative learning strategies from the viewpoint of teachers. To achieve aims of the study, the researcher used a descriptive approach method and used a questionnaire as an instrument for her study. The research was applied to a sample consisting of (240) male and female teachers from the teachers of the first cycle in the province of As-Sweida.

 The study revealed the following results:  Obstacles related to the learner came first, followed by obstacles related to the teacher, then obstacles related to the technical and administrative, obstacles related to the curriculum came last.

The results also showed that there is agreement to a large degree from the study sample on ways to overcome obstacles that hinder using Cooperative learning strategies.

The results also There were no statistically significant differences based on the variable of the gender, experience, as shown There were  statistically significant differences based on the variable of  scientific qualifications.
