Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relation between Inferential Thinking and Emotional Stability among Damascus University, in addition to identifying the differences in Inferential Thinking and Emotional Stability according to gender and academic year. The study sample consisted of (282) students from the Faculty of Education in Damascus University, study tools consist of Battery of Cognition Tests (general inference factor – logical inference factor)  and Emotional Stability Scale.

The results revealed that there was positive statistical significant positive relationship between Inferential Thinking and Emotional Stability. The study further showed that there were statistical significant differences in Inferential Thinking according to academic year to the direct of forth year students, there were no differences in Inferential Thinking and Emotional Stability according to gender.
