The aim of the research is to know the reality of the application of governance and its role in achieving school reform from the point of view of secondary school principals in Hama Governorate, As well as knowing the differences between the averages of the responses of the research sample members on the two questionnaires on the principles of governance and school reform due to the variables (educational qualification, years of experience). The original community, consisting of (62) directors and directors, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection, and the most prominent results reached were the following:
1-The reality of applying the principles of governance in secondary schools in Hama Governorate from the point of view of the research sample members reached a medium degree.
2-The reality of school reform in secondary schools in Hama Governorate from the point of view of the research sample members reached a medium degree
3-There is a statistically significant relationship at the significance level (0.05) between the application of the principles of governance in secondary schools and the achievement of school reform from the point of view of the research sample members
4-There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the answers of the research sample members on the questionnaire on the principles of governance due to the variables (educational qualification, years of experience).
5-There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the averages of the answers of the research sample members on the school reform questionnaire due to the variables (educational qualification, years of experience).
