The Role of the Islamic Education Teachers in Developing the Values of Moderation in Light of Islamic Jurisprudence among Secondary School Students (General And Sharia Secondary Schools in Quneitra Governorate as a Model)

The study aims to identify the role of the Islamic education teacher in developing the values of moderation in light of Islamic jurisprudence among secondary school students in Quneitra Governorate. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method. The study sample consisted of (248) students; (104) males and (144) females, with (144) in public secondary schools and (107) in sharia secondary schools. To achieve the research objectives, a study tool was prepared, which is a questionnaire composed of (36) items, divided into three domains (worship, transactions, and family system). The validity and reliability of the study tool were verified."
The study results showed no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the average responses of secondary school students in defining the role of Islamic education teachers in promoting the values of moderation in light of Islamic jurisprudence for the favor of gender. Differences appeared in the specialization variable in favor of students from sharia secondary schools, and differences in the grade variable in favor of second-year secondary students. Statistical methods in the three domains of worship, civil transactions, and family system confirmed that Islamic education teachers in secondary schools have an effective role in promoting the values of moderation, as indicated by a high average score exceeding (4.03), which demonstrates the interest of Islamic education teachers in this matter and their commitment to fulfilling their duties in this regard to the fullest extent.
