Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of the suggested activities in teaching the Right of Self-Protection for Kindergarten children (5-6) years in Hama Governorate. The researcher used the experimental method of one group. The researcher designed activities to teach children the right of Self-Protection, and ameasure (before and after) to find out the effectiveness of the suggested activities in teaching the kindergarten child the right of Self-Protection. The researcher applied the activities and the measure to an intended sample of (12) boys and (12) girls from kindergarten children KG3 (5-6) years. The research was conducted during the months of March and April of 2021 AD. The results of the research showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the sample children’s answers in the pre and post applications of the measure in favor of the post application, and the results also showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the sample children’s answers in the post application of the measure according to the gender variable.
