Self-regulation and its relationship to emotional management among a sample of graduate students

The study aimed to know the relationship between self-regulation and emotional management among a sample of graduate students, and to explore the levels of self-regulation and emotional management among the sample members, and to reveal the differences between them in managing emotions and self-regulation according to the gender variable, and the Dulaimi and Shamri scale (2013) was used to manage emotions. And the Moelanin Self-Organization Scale, translated, and applied to a sample of (166) graduate students in the faculties of the University of Damascus, and the research reached the following results:
- The level of self-regulation and emotional management was within the limits of the average among the study sample individuals.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of the study sample individuals on the self-regulation scale and their scores on the emotion management scale.
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and females in the total score of the Self-Organization Scale in favor of females.
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and females in the overall score of the Emotion Management Scale in favor of males.
