Abstract

This search aimed at identifying the impact of using numbered heads strategy in developing science processes for the fifth grade pupils in science.

The research sample consisted of (68) pupils of the numbereds heads in Damascus Countryside Governorate, which divided into two groups; an experimental group that consisted of (33) pupils and a control group that consisted of (35) pupils.

The researcher used the experimental approach and designed unit one lessons from science book according to numbered heads strategy, and prepared an inventory of science processes and science processes' scale.

The research results indicated the following:

- There were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups members' mean scores in post-application of the science processes' scale in favor of the experimental group.

- There were statistically significant differences between the experimental group members' mean scores in pre-application and post-application of the science processes' scale in favor of the post-application.

- There was a high impact of using numbered heads strategy in developing science processes for the experimental group members, where the value of the impact size was (0.95).
