Abstract of the research in Arabic The objective of the current research is to identify the relationship between creative thinking and Emotional intelligence in secondary secondary school students in Damascus governorate schools, and to reveal the nature of the differences in the degree of creative thinking and the average grade of their Emotional intelligence according to the variables (gender, grade). The sample consisted of (254) And a student, were selected by the intentional method from the schools of the official governorate of Damascus, and they were tested by Torrance for creative thinking, verbal image (a), after verifying its validity and stability.
The results indicated that:
-1 There is a positive correlation and statistical function between the average score of the members of the research sample in the creative thinking and Emotional intelligence.
-2 There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the Torrance test of creative thinking according to gender variable.
-3 There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the Torrance test of creative thinking according to the variable class and differences for the benefit of students in the second grade secondary year.
-4 There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average score of the members of the research sample in the Emotional intelligence according to the gender variable .
-5There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the members of the research sample on the scale of the Emotional intelligence according to the variable of the grade and the differences in favor of third secondary students.
