Ways to Address Student Bullying from the Perspective of Secondary School Teachers "A Field Study on a Sample of Secondary Schools in Deir Al-Zor City"

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify ways to confront student bullying from the perspective of secondary school teachers in Deir ez-Zor Governorate. To conduct this study, a descriptive survey approach was used, relying on the questionnaire as the primary tool for collecting information. The sample consisted of (7) schools, representing (5%) of the original community's schools. They were selected using a simple random cluster method. The researcher selected (10%) of the original community's teachers, bringing the sample size to (124) teachers, including (45) males and (55) females. The sample consisted of (35) items, comprising (35) paragraphs, from secondary school teachers in Deir ez-Zor for the academic year 2024-2025. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was developed to measure the study variables. The questionnaire consisted of (35) paragraphs. The study results showed that the ways to confront student bullying from the perspective of secondary school teachers in Deir ez-Zor were evaluated at an average overall rating. The results also showed no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of the study sample members' ratings on the tool as a whole, attributable to differences in gender, educational qualifications, and experience.
