Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the role of artificial intelligence technologies in improving the quality of the educational process and the obstacles to its implementation. The sample consisted of (191) male and female students from the Diploma of Educational Qualification at the Third College of Education in Daraa. To achieve the research objective, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and designed a questionnaire consisting of (33) paragraphs to know the opinions of the sample members about the role of artificial intelligence technologies in improving the quality of the educational process and the obstacles to its implementation. The research reached the following results:

1. From the perspective of the research sample, artificial intelligence technologies play an important role in improving the quality of the educational process, with the overall arithmetic mean reaching (3.48), which is a high score.

2. There are moderate obstacles to the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in education (3.37).

3. There are no statistically significant differences in the arithmetic means for the role of artificial intelligence technologies in improving the quality of the educational process and the obstacles to its implementation, attributable to the variables: (gender and degree specialization).
