This study was carried out in 2017/2018 in pot experiment of calcareous soil planted with wheat at the Faculty of Agriculture in Aby Jarash, in order to study effect of sewage sludge and city waste compost on content of soil and wheat (sham 3) of Cr, Cd and pb.
Randomly Complete Block design has been used with three replicates for each treatment then the soil was characterized by determining their physical and chemical properties, as well as sewage sludge and city waste compost by identifying some of its chemical and fertility properties and the content of Cr, Cd and pb.
The results showed that there were significant differences between the sewage sludge treatment(2) compared to city waste compost treatment and blank in content of soil of Cr, Cd and pb (available and total), so the available quantities of Cr, Cd and pb in soil in sewage sludge treatment(2) were (2.75, 0.45, 5.14) mg/kg respectively. and the total quantities of Cr, Cd and pb were (19.10, 1.69, 60.11) mg/kg respectively. Sewage sludge treatment(2) showed significant differences in the content of Straw and grains of Cr, Cd and pb compared to blank and other treatments, so the Cr, Cd and pb quantities in grains were were (0.71, 0.35, 0.84) mg/kg respectively. And in straw were (4.15, 1.49, 6.15) mg/kg respectively, and accumulation of Cd .
