Abstract

Analytical Inductive Study The importance of the research comes mainly from the   major semantic function performed by Arabic poetry in approximating and defining meanings, clarifying some grammatical, morphological and rhetorical issues and preferring some meanings over others. Light on the work of one of the commentators who were known for their eloquence and fondness for Arabic to learn about his method in selecting poetic evidence and employing them in his interpretation, namely Nizam al-Din al-Nisaburi and his interpretation Ghara'eb Al-Qur'an & Ragha'eb Al-Furqan.

The interpreters knew from the first moment the importance of Arabic poetry as a basic reference and a major document in which the Arabs wrote down the meanings of their words, and documented their grammatical and rhetorical methods, which made Muslims search for some of the meanings of the words of the Noble Qur’an in the collections of Arabs, starting with the Companions, may God be pleased with them. The research tried to project light on the attempts of the interpreters to develop their methods to benefit from Arabic poetry by exploring new ways to use it in their compositions, starting with the interpretation of Quranic verses and ending with giving preference to some Quranic meanings over others.
