Abstract

The research is an attempt to investigate the awareness of local educated middle class people of the effects modern communication means may have on the social structure of the village on the one hand and on the family on the other. The people in this class deal with these means, and are, consequently, more sensitive to their impact on children's upbringing, time investment, and recognition of the state of alienation they suffer. Therefore, these people are able to answer questions related to this phenomenon.

The aim of the research is to find out how the individuals of the middle class, both genders, especially the educated, deal with this phenomenon, to what extent they feel positive in their dealing with it, and what course of action they take when using these means of communication: Are they biased toward using these means or not? Do they rationalize the use of these means or not?

 The research uses the scientific research approach because it is more convenient with comparative and observational methods. The questionnaire, which is a research tool, helps to be more diverse in presenting indicators which have been made and answered, then written in numerical tables indicating the percentage of each gender's response in the three age groups. This helps to reach results and make suggestions at the end of the research.
