The Syrian Intangible Heritage: A Bibliometric Study

This study focuses on the importance of Syrian intangible heritage and its documentation, highlighting its historical and cultural value in preserving the Syrian cultural identity. It does so by observing the intellectual production published in the Syrian intangible heritage.
The study aims to explore and analyze "The Intellectual Production of Syrian Intangible Heritage" comprehensively and its cultural and artistic diversity, revealing its historical and objective aspects that make it rich in value and influence. It also examines its objective and temporal-spatial distributions, identifying the most significant authors, investigators, and reviewers who contributed to writing, investigating, and reviewing this production. The study adopts the bibliometric approach to study this production quantitatively and qualitatively by distributing the themes of Syrian intangible heritage among various publishers and extracting results and analyses related to its composition and distribution.
The study concludes that "Syrian intangible heritage" constitutes one of the
most significant cultural and social pillars in Syria, and its objective distribution among publishers reflects significant interest in this heritage and its dissemination within the society. Additionally, the study unveils the extent of cultural diversity and richness of the Syrian people, which contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and cultural dialogue between different cultures.
The study proposes the necessity of enhancing efforts to preserve and document Syrian intangible heritage to safeguard its identity and utilize it as a valuable cultural legacy for future generations. Furthermore, the study recommends promoting future research and studies in this field to gain a deeper understanding and conduct further documentation of Syrian heritage.
