Abstract

There is consensus that history of  the Arab Renaissancestarts from the 19th century , and end at the  beginning of  19.

Mohammad Ali  Pasha sending Egyptian students to Europe to study  theoretical and practical   science, which contributed to

The  openness to  the West.

Tahtawi  (1873-1801)was one of the most important members of these missions ,after his returning from Paris , is pregnant with him all the new  scince  and ideas , he was thinking of the way in wich these sciences and ideas could be used in progress and the renaissance of Egypt?

The main ideas in the philosophy of education at Tahtawi ,are progressive ideas, particulary the issue of women's  education, Tahtawi has written a special book in this context containing important issues in the philosophy of education.
