Abstract

This research seeks to study of horses and their role in land commercial, by  talking about horse in the third, second and first millennium B.C, and their existence then defining the sources of obtaining horses , , and the role it

played in their empire and its use in several fields, including military ,ceremonies religious rituals, mail, hunting and transportation as well, then talking about horse stables and taking care of them, and finally horses artistic scenes. The importance of the research stems from introducing the importance of horses and the benefits gained by the people of mesopotamia as a result raising this new animal, the greatest area in which they benefited from the presence of horses was the military filed, in addition to other fields.
