Abstract

Noise is one of the forms of environmental pollution dangerous to the health of workers in industrial work sites, which causes semi -permanent occupational diseases for workers who work long hours daily in an environment where noise spreads at high rates.

The carpet industry that uses old fashioned mechanical looms is characterized in its technical condition, which made it a source of high levels of noise.

Hence, scientific research in the field of occupational safety and industrial security has focused on the issue of noise and its negative effects.

This research deals with the study of noise levels in the carpet factory and the possibility of reducing this noise to the levels permitted by the occupational safety committees to preserve the health of workers.
