Abstract

The industrial revolution brought about dramatic changes in many economic sectors at the end of the nineteenth century in several areas, and attempts to

manufacture building parts emerged in that period. And architecture remained closer to craft until the beginning of the twentieth century and the emergence of the modernist movement, Interest in the idea of manufacturing in housing for housing insurance began after World War II. development, quantitative housing emerged with the aim of shortening the duration of implementation and reducing the cost, and Modularization is a well-established technique that contributed to the improvement of construction during that period. Part of the work on site was exported to manufacturing workshops, which contributed to the emergence of many modular projects by linking standardization to design in the industrial sector.

The research discusses Evaluate the experience of Modularization Residential Buildings in Syria, and addresses the labour city of Adra through the urban and architectural analysis of the city and based on the identification tool to study the extent to which the pre-manufactured model in Syria meets the functional and environmental requirements by studying a set of indicators discussed in the research.
