Abstract

 

This paper presents an efficient method to estimate an angle of rotated images  using Genetic Algorithm (GA).

This method uses a parameter , which is called, chromosome. It represents a position coordinates (X,Y, α) transformed into a sequence of bits of small length depending on the dimension of the original image, whereby the estimation will be obtained in short time. The form of the chromosome is a sequence of binary bits. To demonstrate the efficiency of this method, examples will be shown.
