Abstract

Because of the urgent need for reconstruction in many of the destroyed cities due to the exceptional conditions that the country is going through, it was necessary to think about how to get rid of demolition waste, as it negatively affects the surrounding environment in addition to the high economic cost in the event of its transportation and removal from those areas. Reusing the waste resulting from demolition and concrete aggregates in particular is the ideal solution and the basis on which development and urban projects must be applied to reach building materials that meet architectural requirements and have good performance that help in the advancement of destroyed cities and villages and rebuild them faster.

Based on the foregoing, the study began with a simplified understanding of the demolition waste management process, the benefits and difficulties of recycling and reusing that waste, and the factors affecting that process.

Then the research touched on the development of the management of recycling and re-use of demolition waste and the mechanism of work that must be done to re-use that waste in the manner required by each site and according to the spatial, temporal and economic conditions, in addition to setting up policies that serve the reuse and recycling of demolition waste and delving into it to find out its methods, benefits and disadvantages.

In the end, the methods of managing the concrete aggregate in particular and converting it into effective products at the spatial level were reached by analyzing its presence on the site and the techniques of working with the rubble to reach a product that can be used in reconstruction. And through what was mentioned, strategies were identified to reuse the concrete according to the architectural requirements, within The site through several systems that can be rethought to put it within the service of reusing the rubble in its current state without the need to convert it into several complex operations with great economic cost..
