The Degree of Problems Existence in the Educational Process from the Point of View of Students of Basic Education Stage in Daraa Governorate

Abstract

  The aim of the research is to know the problems in the educational process from the point of view of students of the basic education stage in Daraa governorate, and to know the differences in the students' answers to the research tool according to the two variables (gender, place of residence). The research sample consisted of (389) students selected using a simple random method from the schools of Daraa governorate. A special questionnaire for the research topic (prepared by the researcher) was applied to them after verifying its validity and consistency.

The results indicated the following: An average degree for the presence of problems in the educational process from the students' point of view. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample in their performance on the questionnaire according to the gender variable (male / female).  This is for the benefit of males. There are also statistically significant differences between the average scores of the individuals of the research sample in their performance on the questionnaire according to the place of residence (countryside / city) for the benefit of the countryside.
