Abstract

The aim of research is to reveal digital literacy skills availability level in the social studies book for the fifth grades of the basic education stage, The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach, in the light of a list of digital literacy skills. It consisted of ( 3 ) sub - skills and ( 20 ) indicators , and the research sample included all the contents of the social studies book for the fifth grades of the basic education stage, reached the following results were obtained : - Digital literacy skills were included in the social studies book  in varying proportions. The Information Literacy got a percentage of (91.76 %), Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Literacy got a percentage of ( 5.64 %), and Media Literacy got a percentage of ( 2.60 % ) - The absence of a logical and just gradation in including the digital literacy skills in the social studies book for the fifth grades of the basic education stage  -Not including some indicator of digital literacy skills in the entire book content . such the indicator(using the computer and mobile to build and classify information to work successfully) .The book's content is rich in activity , and the lack

 of maps and shape.
