Extremist and its Regional Role in Supporting Islamic Extremist Groups
Abstract
This study sheds light on the phenomenon of extremism and its different ramifications, as one of the dangerous psychological behavioral and social phenomena which spread in all human societies.
The researcher has focused on the study of the main motives and reasons for extremist phenomenon, the definition of different forms of extremism: religious, ethnic, political, social and intellectual.
The researcher designates part of his research to talk about some supporting forces for Islamic extremism, especially the Gulf and the Turkish role, taking into consideration the support they provide for some extremist forces in both Syria and Iraq and what they have done concerning training, fomenting and arming of armed groups in addition to protecting the runaway extremists of ISIS, Al-Nusra, etc.
At the end of the research, the researcher has recommended to some solutions and visions which could curb extremism and put an end to it in the future.
