Abstract

Economic relations are the main pillar in the development of political and diplomatic relations between countries, especially in terms of the geographical location, which plays a great role in the level of economic relations. This is what governs in the first place the economic, political and cultural relations between Russia and Turkey for a long time. The research deals with the economic dimension in Russian-Turkish relations after the end of the Cold War by studying the historical course of these relations and the motives for their development between the two countries. The research also reviews areas of competition and areas of economic convergence between them, and the future of these relations in light of the continuing political and diplomatic disagreement between the two parties.
